Structure of a HTTP/FTP repository

You can download Calculate Linux from one of our HTTP/FTP mirrors or via the BitTorrent protocol.

The tree looks something like this:

  • container/ - Calculate Linux ISO images for installation in container
  • grp/ - binary updates
    • i686/ - 32 bit packages
    • x86_64/ - 64 bit packages
    • ini.env - the most recent versions of Portage and overlays available for synchronization
  • meta/ - service data for installing in a container
  • nightly/ - development releases
  • release/ - stable releases
  • source/ - source codes
  • streams/ - service data for installing Calculate Linux in a container
  • themes/ - Calculate Linux themes

The ISO filename is composed by the flavour code, the version name and the architecture. To fetch a stable Calculate release, replace with your version in the following link:

To fetch a development Calculate release, replace with your version in the following link:
